Four daughters - 2023
Four Daughters (Les Filles d’Olfa) tells the true story of a Tunisian mother whose two daughters joined ISIS. The film shows how the Arab Spring changed Tunisian society and how poverty, marginalization, and the difficult condition of women contributed to radicalization. It won the César for Best Documentary 2024, the Independent Spirit Award 2024, and L’Œil d’or at Cannes 2023.

THe LAST GIRL - Nadia Muirad
This book tells the true story of the author, a Yazidi woman captured by ISIS in Iraq. She describes the violence, slavery, and genocide suffered by her community, as well as her fight for justice after her escape. The book exposes the consequences of the wars in Iraq and Syria, the failure to protect minorities after the Arab Spring uprisings (2011), and the suffering of women in conflict zones. Nadia Murad received the Nobel Peace Prize in 2018 for her commitment to ending sexual violence in wartime.
